Better xCloud Terms of Service

These terms describe the permitted use of Betterxcloud.wiki and the limits that apply to independent guides, external source links and download information.

Effective date: August 14, 2026

SERVICE TYPE Informational guide No account or file hosting service
01

1. About the service

Betterxcloud.wiki provides English-language information about Better xCloud, including platform selection, official source links, installation steps, settings explanations, input guides, local co-op notes and troubleshooting suggestions. The site is independent and is not Microsoft, Xbox or the official Better xCloud project.

The site may change, remove or reorganize pages, links and explanations as upstream software, browsers, operating systems and cloud gaming services change. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using this independent reference site and do not replace the terms of any external provider.

02

2. External downloads and source links

Betterxcloud.wiki does not repackage, re-sign or host the Better xCloud userscript or Android APK. Download buttons may send you to an official GitHub release asset after an in-page countdown, and source buttons may open official documentation or a release page. External destinations have their own terms, security practices, licenses and availability.

You are responsible for checking the destination, package name, platform, release notes and device compatibility before installing software. A source link on this site is not a warranty, endorsement of every third-party statement or guarantee that the external service will remain available.

03

3. Acceptable use

  • Use the site for lawful information, installation and troubleshooting research.
  • Do not attack, overload, scrape aggressively or interfere with the site's operation.
  • Do not use the site to distribute malware, unlawful content, stolen credentials or deceptive download mirrors.
  • Do not misrepresent Betterxcloud.wiki as Microsoft, Xbox or the official Better xCloud project.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security controls, abuse support email or submit sensitive account information.
04

4. Installation and account responsibility

You are responsible for the device, browser, app permissions, network, Microsoft account and Xbox Cloud Gaming access used with Better xCloud. The guides do not provide a subscription, bypass a service requirement or guarantee that an installation works on every device.

Read the instructions for your platform and keep backups of preferences or notes before changing client settings. If a download, permission prompt or package identity looks different from the guide, stop and verify the official source.

05

5. Accuracy, availability and updates

We aim to keep version facts, platform labels and troubleshooting steps useful, but software and cloud services change quickly. A page may be incomplete, temporarily stale or unsuitable for a particular browser, network, game or device. Use the source check date and official upstream references to validate important decisions.

The site is provided on an informational basis and may be unavailable, delayed, incorrect or interrupted. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free pages, successful downloads or compatibility with a particular setup.

06

6. Intellectual property and trademarks

Better xCloud, Xbox, Microsoft and other names remain the property of their respective owners. This site uses names and links to identify the subject of its guides. Site text, organization, branding and original layout belong to Betterxcloud.wiki unless otherwise stated.

Do not copy the site in a way that suggests an official relationship or use its branding to create a misleading download destination. Respect the licenses and terms attached to upstream source code and external assets.

07

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Betterxcloud.wiki is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties that the information, source links, downloads or setup steps will meet a particular need, remain current or work without error.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses arising from use of the site, an external source, an installed package, a browser setting, an account, a network or a cloud gaming session. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so local law may preserve rights that cannot be excluded.

08

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the site's purpose, source links, platform coverage or legal requirements change. The effective date will show when the current version was published.

Better xCloud terms of service: practical rules

These Better xCloud terms are easiest to follow when the site is treated as an independent reference rather than as a publisher of the upstream software. Read the platform guide that matches your device, use the official source or release page, and stop when a package name, permission prompt or destination looks different from the documented route. Do not use a page title or download button as proof that Betterxcloud.wiki is affiliated with Microsoft, Xbox or the Better xCloud developers.

You may use the public guides for personal research and ordinary installation decisions. You may not use the site to distribute malware, impersonate the upstream project, harvest account credentials, overload the service, or create a mirror that hides the original source and its license terms. If you quote a guide, keep the context and attribution accurate.

  • Choose the correct platform before opening an external download.
  • Review release notes and package identity before installing software.
  • Keep Microsoft, Xbox, GitHub and upstream project accounts under their own providers.
  • Do not submit passwords, recovery codes or access tokens to support.
  • Report broken links or misleading instructions with concrete page evidence.
10

External providers and changing source links

A source link can change, expire or show a different interface after the upstream project publishes a new release. The site may update or remove a link when that happens, but it cannot control GitHub availability, Xbox Cloud Gaming service status, browser behavior, Android package installation or the policies of an external provider. You should verify the destination and use the external provider's current terms before proceeding.

The Better xCloud terms do not transfer responsibility for an external account or device to this site. A successful page load does not promise that a package will install on every architecture, that a browser will keep a permission enabled, or that a game will support keyboard, mouse, controllers or local co-op. Those outcomes depend on the relevant provider, game and hardware.

Contact, corrections and the current version

Questions about these Better xCloud terms of service, a broken link or an inaccurate instruction can be sent to [email protected]. Include the page URL, platform, source or release you checked and a short description of the problem. Do not include credentials or private account data. A correction may require checking the upstream repository or documentation before the page is changed.

The effective date near the top of this page identifies the current version of the terms. Continued use of the informational site after an update means that the revised terms apply to site browsing, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to the visitor. If you disagree with a material change, stop using the site and use the official upstream source or support channel for the product you need. Keep a copy of any release notes or instructions that are important to your installation because external pages may change independently.

Source note: These terms describe the current English informational site. They should be reviewed before adding accounts, user uploads, paid services, comments or hosted software files.
